Confined Space + Rescue / Standby
Full confined space credential including rescue in complex environments as a team member or single agency. Recommended for standby / safety observers.

Application and relevance
For confined space entrants who also act as standby / observer or perform rescue in the space.
Combines entry, gas testing, breathing apparatus, rescue and CPR into a single credential.
Course details
- Duration
- 3 days (8 hours per day), 7:00am – 3:00pm.
- Class size
- Maximum 10 students per class.
- Prerequisites
- No formal prerequisites. Learners must be physically capable of the practical tasks and provide photo ID and USI on the day.
- Equipment
- All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training.
- Assessment
- Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
- Recognition
- Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion. MSMWHS216 and HLTAID009 require annual recertification.
