Zokal
Standby & rescue

A rescue plan is not a document. It's people, on site, ready to go in.

Under the WHS Regulation you cannot permit confined space entry without first arranging rescue. Zokal supplies the crew, the equipment and the rescue procedure so entry can proceed lawfully and safely.

Delivered by the same team that trains Australia's confined space and rescue operators.

When sites call us

  • 1A shutdown, turnaround or tank entry where your own crew can't be pulled off the job to hold rescue.
  • 2Vessel, silo, pit, sewer or pipeline entries where retrieval needs breathing apparatus and vertical rescue capability.
  • 3Your permit system requires a rescue team on standby and your internal team's tickets have lapsed.
  • 4A principal contractor or insurer has asked who is performing rescue, and the answer needs to be defensible.
