EWP Escape and Rescue (ESI)

Safely conduct a rescue from an EWP and perform a controlled descent escape in an ESI context.

For ESI EWP operators who need to perform controlled descent escape and rescue of another operator.

Aligns with ESI network authorisation requirements for EWP work.

Course details

Duration
Approximately 4 hours (½ day).
Class size
Maximum 10 students per class.
Prerequisites
Existing EWP operator competency is recommended.
Equipment
All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes EWP escape kit, harnesses and lowering devices.
Assessment
Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
Recognition
Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion.
