What a VOC covers
A qualified assessor observes the worker performing the task in a real or simulated environment, checks their knowledge, and records the result against the relevant unit or your site procedure.

Common VOC scopes
- Confined space entry, standby and gas testing
- Working at heights and fall arrest equipment
- Elevated work platforms
- Fire extinguisher and emergency response
- Breathing apparatus use

When to use VOC
- New starters and contractors arriving on site
- Workers returning after an extended absence
- After an incident, near miss or procedural change
- Periodic currency checks required by your WHS system

What you receive
A documented assessment outcome per worker, plus a clear recommendation where gap training or refresher training is required.
