Find Your CourseChoosing the Right Course
Every workplace has different training requirements. Before enrolling, confirm with:
- Your employer
- Your site supervisor
- Your industry regulator
- Your job advertisement
if you're unsure which qualification or nationally recognised unit you need. If you're still uncertain, Zokal Training can recommend the appropriate course based on your industry, job role and experience.
Entry Requirements
Entry requirements vary between courses. Depending on the course, you may need:
- Minimum age requirements
- Government-issued photo identification
- A valid USI
- Existing licences or qualifications
- Evidence of prerequisite units
- Basic computer skills for online learning
- Access to a smartphone, tablet or computer where applicable
Some practical courses also require participants to be physically capable of completing workplace-based practical activities safely. Please review the individual course page for specific requirements.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)
To successfully complete nationally recognised training, students need sufficient English language, literacy and numeracy skills. This helps ensure you can:
- understand workplace safety information

- communicate during practical activities
- interpret workplace documentation
If you believe you may require additional support, please contact us before enrolling. We'll discuss your individual needs and determine the most appropriate support options available.

A USI is required for anyone completing nationally recognised training in Australia. Without a valid USI, we cannot issue your Statement of Attainment or Qualification. If you don't already have one, creating a USI is free and only takes a few minutes.
Identification Requirements
On the day of training you'll be asked to verify your identity. Please bring acceptable government-issued photo identification. Some courses may have additional identification or verification requirements. If you're unsure what identification is acceptable, contact us before your course.
