Course details
- Duration
- Approximately 4 hours (½ day).
- Class size
- Maximum 8 students per class.
- Prerequisites
- Existing pole climbing / distribution line worker qualifications.
- Equipment
- All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes pole-top rescue kit and climbing gear.
- Assessment
- Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
- Recognition
- Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion.

- Perform a controlled lower of a casualty from a pole
