Skills to safely conduct a pole-top rescue with correct inspection and use of pole-top rescue equipment.

Course details

Duration
Approximately 4 hours (½ day).
Class size
Maximum 8 students per class.
Prerequisites
Existing pole climbing / distribution line worker qualifications.
Equipment
All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes pole-top rescue kit and climbing gear.
Assessment
Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
Recognition
Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion.
