Elevated Work Platform Training

EWP > 11 metres — High Risk Work Licence

Two days of training plus a one-day High Risk Work assessment for boom-type EWPs with a boom length of 11 metres or more.

National Units of Competency

Codes verifiable on the national training.gov.au register.

Application and relevance

For operators required to use boom-type EWPs with a boom length ≥ 11 metres.

Delivers the licence pathway required under WHS regulations for high-risk work.

Course details

Duration
3 days total — 2 training days + 1 High Risk Work assessment day.
Class size
Maximum 4 students per class for the assessment.
Prerequisites
Valid photo ID and Unique Student Identifier (USI). Adequate English literacy for the HRW knowledge assessment.
Equipment
All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes ≥11 m boom lift access.
Assessment
Includes the SafeWork NSW HRW WP knowledge and performance assessment on day three. WorkCover card fee is payable at Australia Post to receive the licence.
Recognition
Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion. Successful HRW assessment leads to a WP High Risk Work Licence.
