Purpose

Federal legislation states; that an employer must provide any information, training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all persons from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out as part of the conduct of the business or undertaking. Providing this type of training has assisted owners, employers and operators to meet their responsibility under the OHS & WHS Acts where a high risk work licence is not required.

Note:

If you require the use of a boom-type elevated work platform with a height or reach of 11 metres or more, you must hold a valid National Licence to Perform High Risk Work class WP, issued by a Work Health and Safety Regulator.
