LVR (Low Voltage Rescue) + CPR

Perform a rescue from live low voltage electrical apparatus in an ESI environment, combined with CPR.

National Units of Competency

Codes verifiable on the national training.gov.au register.

For workers exposed to live LV electrical apparatus who may be first-responders to an electrical incident.

Combines LVR rescue with CPR — the two competencies most sites require together.

Duration: Approximately 4 hours (½ day).
Class size: Maximum 12 students per class.
Prerequisites: No formal prerequisites. Annual recertification is standard in the ESI.
Equipment: All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes LV panel rescue kit and CPR manikins with AED.
Assessment: Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
Recognition: Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion. Requires annual recertification for ESI authorisation.
