Emergency Response Training

Perform Tower Rescue (includes Work Safely at Heights)

For personnel required to work on towers or similar structures. Physical two-day course covering height access and tower rescue.

National Units of Competency

Codes verifiable on the national training.gov.au register.

Application and relevance

For tower riggers, telco climbers and utility crews who may be first on scene to a fallen or suspended colleague.

Covers safe access plus rescue as a workplace emergency procedure.

Course details

Duration
2 days (8 hours per day).
Class size
Maximum 8 students per class.
Prerequisites
Physical fitness to perform tower access and rescue tasks.
Equipment
All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes tower rescue kit, harnesses and lowering systems.
Assessment
Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
Recognition
Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion.
