National Units of Competency

Codes verifiable on the national training.gov.au register.

For first aiders in remote, industrial and marine environments where higher-level airway and oxygen skills are needed.

Common in mining, remote sites and offshore workforces.

Duration: Approximately 4 hours (½ day).
Class size: Maximum 12 students per class.
Prerequisites: Current CPR (HLTAID009) is required.
Equipment: All training materials and PPE supplied by Zokal Safety Training. Includes airway adjuncts, oxygen therapy equipment and AEDs.
Assessment: Continuous assessment across theory and practical components. Written knowledge questions plus supervised practical demonstration against the national performance criteria.
Recognition: Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 91267 on successful completion.
